WHO ARE WE?
A Safe Space is a collection of highly skilled and experienced investigators and Safety Professionals who are adept at identifying the cause, process and effects of an event and can help resolve and/or prevent another similar event.
A Safe Space is an unbiased external support for workplaces. We focus on supporting employers with compliance, finding solutions to problems, repairing workplace relationships, and conducting both harassment and incident investigations. Our investigators are critical thinkers with incredible attention to detail, emotional control, and ethics.
KEVIN HUBER & SUSAN BOAN
Professional Background and Experience:
Susan and Kevin bring extensive experience across a wide range of leadership and operational roles, including:
- Corrections and Public Safety – Deputy Director, Director
- Training and Personnel Manager
- Hostage Negotiators
- Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Facilitators
Both have also served as Provincial Leads with the Occupational Health and Safety Harassment Prevention Unit, with Kevin holding the role from 2007–2009 and Susan from 2009–2021.
In addition, they have held numerous positions across provincial, municipal, and private industry environments, contributing broad, cross-sector expertise.
